About Us and What we do...
A Touch of Reiki is a small group of specialist Reiki practitioners based in West Yorkshire lead by Reiki Master C R Stanworth. Our aims are to promote good health and well being for both people and animals, and to increase general awareness of Reiki.
Reiki Master C R Stanworth is a recognised Traditional Usui Reiki Master and Kundalini Reiki Master Teacher and is the principal Reiki practitioner for A Touch of Reiki, performing all A Touch of Reiki attunements personally. A Touch of Reiki also employs Reiki practitioners (Reiki Second Degree and above) to perform dedicated Holistic Reiki. Once again, we are experienced with both people and animals. Whether you require some Holistic Reiki yourself, for a pet, a dog, cat, or race-horse we have the experience to accomodate your needs.
Most Holistic Reiki takes approximately one hour but may vary according to your personal needs or those of the animal. Those who have not experienced Reiki previously often find it difficult to relax at first due to the invasion of their private 'space', and the benefits of Reiki may not become apparent during the first couple of visits. It is for this reason that A Touch of Reiki recommends three visits, although a single visit may still be arranged.
A Touch of Reiki can also arrange Traditional Usui Reiki, Western Reiki, and Kundalini Reiki attunements. Note that Attunements will only be performed if the recipient is of sound integrity and sincerity. If this is not so we regret that A Touch of Reiki will not be able to perform the Attunement.
Please note that A Touch of Reiki does not subscribe to the Hawayo Takawa or Reiki Alliance unfounded claims that Master Attunements should cost no less than $10,000. Nor do we subscribe to the more recent but equally unjustified £1,000 pricing.
